TD-3-RD
Only produced from 1981 to 1984, the Roland TB-303 was a tremendous commercial flop as a replacement for the bass guitar, however it soon found its place as one of the most-loved synthesizers for what became known as Electronic Dance Music (EDM). An ultra-affordable and faithful homage to the iconic synthesizer that spawned house music, plus an all-new Distortion circuit, the TD-3-RD lets you conjure up virtually any sound with incredible finesse and ease. With its pure analog signal path, 16-step Sequencer and authentic VCO, VCF and VCA filters, the TD-3-RD is sure to become one of your favorite synthesizers.
Pure Analog Signal Path
Great care has been taken in engineering the TD-3-RD, including the true to the original VCO, VCF and VCA designs and pure analog circuitry with matched transistors. This highly-focused attention to detail is what gives TD-3-RD its ultra-flexible sound shaping capability, which covers everything from super-fat bass and lead tones to stunning effects – all the way out to the otherworldly sounds of your imagination.
Rock Right Out of the Box!
Your TD-3-RD comes ready to rock, thanks to its default signal routing that doesn’t require lifting a single patch cable to instantly create amazing sounds. The highly-intuitive layout lets you easily tap into the inspired sounds of 1980s and ’90s progressive rock, wave, EDM and synth-pop music tracks that made rock and roll history – or to design incredibly fat and original sounds that will make you a legend in your own right!
Versatile VCF
The very heart of TD-3-RD’s sound is its versatile 24 dB/octave filter, which lets you freely experiment with the low-pass Cutoff frequency and Resonance settings to dial in the perfect sound.
Vintage Oscillator
TD-3-RD’s authentic Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) with transistor wave-shaping circuitry is ultra-easy to use and provides your choice of reverse-sawtooth or pulse waveforms for the ultimate in sound creation.
Onboard Sequencer
The onboard sequencer with 7 tracks allows you to program up to 16 steps of notes and rests and save them as a Pattern. You can record, save and recall up to 250 patterns, all of which can be stored in the 4 Groups. Your sequences can be played either in Keyboard mode, where you create and store the pattern, or Step mode which allows you to interact while composing a pattern.
Kick it Into Distortion!
We saved one of the most exciting features for the last stage in the all-analog signal path – Distortion! When you want to add even more power to your performance, just flip the Distortion On/Off switch and dial in the perfect amount of Drive to push the “envelope” to the max. The crowd won’t know what hit ‘em!
16-Note Poly Chain Ready
While it is a monophonic instrument (one note at a time), TD-3-RD’s 16-note Poly Chain function lets you combine multiple synthesizers for up to 16-voice polyphony – plus provides vastly improved reliability and stability over its 1970s and '80s predecessors.

What’s a Compressor?
Dynamics play an important role in music; they help to convey emotion, whether it’s a sweet and sultry blues solo – or the relentless gallop of molten metal. But uncontrolled dynamics can take all your best intentions and turn them into so much... well… mush. That’s where compression comes to the rescue – softening loud sounds, and boosting low signal levels that often get lost in the mix. So the primary function of a compressor is to make every note the same volume level. The resulting compressed signal creates a much more dense, impactful sound, with richness and room for your subtle nuances coming through – like never before.
Balancing Act
Ever notice how some strings on your guitar or bass sound louder than others? This is partly due to physics; strings with lower mass just don’t put out as much volume as the heavier ones. When used properly, a compressor makes all of the strings the same volume. Compressors are also great for slap-style bass players, making thumb slaps, string pulls and muted notes all the same volume, for an extremely percussive effect.
It’s Easy!
Twist the Level knob to determine this pedal’s overall output, adjust the Attack to give the front-end of every strum and pluck added definition, then dial in the amount of sustain desired. The status LED tells you when the CL9 is on, and the high-quality on/off switch maintains incredible signal integrity in bypass mode. You can power the amazing CL9 with either a 9 V battery or our PSU-SB DC power supply (not included).

ULTRA-DI PRO DI800 V2
The ULTRA-DI PRO DI800 is a professional mains/phantom powered 8-channel active DI-box. If you need a rack-mountable DI unit with enough inputs to accommodate everyone on stage, or in the studio – then you need to plug into the DI800!
PRO-Active
Direct Injection (DI) boxes make it possible to connect guitars, basses and keyboards (as well as other line-level devices) to audio mixers and recorders. They are absolutely essential for proper impedance-matching and to maintain signal integrity. Our active DI800 features “buffered” inputs that respect your source signal much better than passive DI boxes. Balanced signals leaving the DI800 are extremely low-impedance (typically less than 680 Ω), and far less susceptible to noise and RF Interference (RFI).
1/4" In, XLR Out – There has to be More?
When it comes right down to it, all DI boxes do the same thing, right? Yes, in a manner of speaking, but the DI800 does much more than just “bass guitar in, mic-level signal out.” It really is a highly versatile input-signal toolkit. Here are just two advantages the DI800 has over standard passive DI boxes:
Maybe you’d like to connect your guitar amp’s speaker output to your mixer? Not a problem, the DI800 features a -30 dB attenuation switch, allowing you to connect to speaker outputs rated up to 3,000 Watts – and convert them to balanced XLR outs!
Weak incoming signal? The DI800 has a +20 dB switch, which really comes in handy for boosting low-level input signals to balanced signals with real power and rock-solid impact.
Of course, the DI800 provides a Link output for easy connection to other equipment, such as your onstage amplifiers and monitor consoles. Servo-balanced performance guarantees ultra-flat frequency response – and the gold-plated XLR output connectors provide reliable, low-noise operation. Per channel ground-lift switches eliminate ground-loop hum issues. The DI800 does everything a standalone passive DI can, and much more – times eight!
Power Trip
Unlike their passive counterparts, active DI boxes require a power source to make their internal electronics work. The DI800 provides two power options: 100 – 240 V~ from the nearest wall outlet or power strip, or +48 V DC from your mixer phantom power supply.
