Whether you use it to provide that awe-inspiring talking-synth sound that sold millions of recordings, or just for its really fat string section and multi-voice choir pads, owning the VOCODER VC340 is like having your own personal time machine, enabling you to embrace the past – or make your imprint on the future!    Legendary Vocoder Users  Although originally patented by Bell Labs engineer Homer Dudley in 1939, the vocoder didn’t become part of the modern musical lexicon until the 1970s. It has since been used by recording/performing artists Wendy Carlos, Phil Collins, Jean Michel Jarre, Mike Oldfield, Kraftwerk, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Coldplay, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Daft Punk, Isao Tomito and Emerson, Lake and Palmer, to name but a few. The vocoder has also become a singular staple of major motion pictures and video games for its ability to create robot voices, special audio effects, and much more.    True to the Original  Great care has been taken in engineering the VOCODER VC340, including the true to the original analog circuitry, which makes it extremely easy for you to recreate the classic vocoder sounds that made a tremendous impact on synth-based rock. This highly-focused attention to detail is what gives the VOCODER VC340 its ultra-flexible sound shaping capability, which covers everything from super-fat voice and string ensembles to stunning effects – and all the way out to the otherworldly sounds of your imagination.    You Provide VOCODER VC340’s Unique Voice  Unlike the original vocoders of the 1970s and ’80s, you get to use your favorite microphone with the VOCODER VC340. A dedicated XLR input connector is provided on the rear panel that allows any Low-Impedance (Lo-Z) dynamic mic (not incl.) to modulate the onboard synthesized sounds.    Multiple-Stage Chorus  Nothing fattens up the sound of a vocal choir or string section better than a truly-great chorus! That's why VOCODER VC340’s chorus features authentic analog BBD (Bucket Brigade Delay) technology, which hands the signal off across multiple processing stages for the ideal amount of luscious thickening.    Controls & Connectivity  We just can’t help ourselves – like you, we’re gear-heads, too. For those who want the numbers, VOCODER VC340 has 32 knobs, faders, and switches, all laid out in a highly-intuitive format that puts the joy back into your music creation. Input and output connections include Mic In; Phones; External Synth In; Control (Vocoder Hold & Pitch pedal inputs); Audio Out (Mono & Stereo with 3-position Level switch); and MIDI (I/O and Thru) via USB/MIDI DIN.    Unleash Your Imagination  When it comes to not just pushing envelopes but creating them, VOCODER VC340 gives your imagination its voice – and it’s so very affordable. When modern performance calls for that classic analog sound – it calls for the Behringer VOCODER VC340!  Get your VOCODER VC340 online today!

By taking a fresh and modern approach to a classic drum machine, the RD-6-SR gives you the power to harness the phenomenal sound of the venerable TR-606 and tap into some new features as well. Punchy bass drums through sizzling hi-hats and even the authentic and renowned BR-110 clap sound can be manipulated to take your rhythm performance to the next level.     Complete Control  Built to enhance the way you perform, the RD-6-SR boasts a 16-step drum sequencer which allows for real-time switching between 32 separate patterns. Start building song structures on-the-fly and even edit them to your liking. Mix any of the 8 drum sounds by adjusting their dedicated level knobs. The RD-6-SR also comes with a distortion based on the venerable DS-1. distortion. Each pattern you     Oberheim DMX  Launched in 1981, the Oberheim DMX also used sampled sounds of real drums, individual tuning controls for each voice, and a swing function to add a little grove. The controls gave the DMX the ability to emulate a real drummer via timing variations, rolls, and flams to create a more human “feel”. The DMX has 11 samples, which can be used to create 24 individual drum sounds and allows up to 8 voices simultaneously. It has 8 separate outputs for individual channel processing and holds up to 100 sequences and 50 songs.    E-mu SP-1200  Released in 1987, the E-mu SP-1200 was quickly accepted into the Hip-Hop world due to its limited bandwidth sampling rate, classic 4-pole filter, and 12-bit sampling resolution. This all contributed to the unit’s gravelly sounds, which have been featured on many hit recordings. The SP-1200’s ability to build the main structure of a song within a single piece of gear (a first in the industry) cut Hip-Hop artists loose from the studio to perform live alongside the machine. Famous users include the Beastie Boys, The Prodigy, and Daft Punk.    AKAI MPC60  The celebrated Akai MPC was designed by Roger Linn and produced by Akai from 1988 onwards. The MPC allowed artists to use new clever ways to manipulate small samples to create a completely new track. These snippets were often lifted from other records and thus started a new style of “Sound-Collage”. The original MPC60 only allowed sample lengths of up to 13 seconds.    Watch Video...

An authentic reproduction of the original “System 2500” circuitry from the 70’s that can fit in a standard Eurorack case. The best part? It’s at a very affordable price. Mix the MULTIMODE FILTER/RESONATOR MODULE 1047 in with your existing rig or start your modular synth journey from here. Either way you’re sure to have a lot of fun.   MULTIMODE FILTER RESONATOR The MULTIMODE FILTER/RESONATOR MODULE 1047 is a classic voltage-controlled 12 dB per octave state-variable filter, the filter is a matched transistor design for a vintage sound. The 1047 filter is equipped with coarse and fine filter frequency controls, a resonance (Q) control which acts on all 4 filter outputs, a resonance limit switch that prevents signal overload when high levels of resonance are used, the notch frequency/fc control allows the notch frequency to be adjusted up or down from fc as set by the frequency controls, 2 summed frequency CV attenuators and a resonance (Q) CV attenuator for maximum flexibility, the signal input is also equipped with an attenuator. All this gives you endless possibilities of filter curve shape to create the ultimate sound.   Ins and Outs The 1047 gives you comprehensive connectivity, filter signal input, FCV 1 and FCV 2 inputs can be used for filter frequency control or modulation, the Q CV input allows modulation of Q and resonance. The independent low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and notch filter outputs are all available simultaneously to feed multiple filter signals to other modules.   Eurorack Ready Installing the MULTIMODE FILTER/RESONATOR MODULE 1047 is easy as it is designed to fit into a standard Eurorack case. Just connect the power cable to the power supply and screw in the module using the included screws. This allows for the 1047 to be mixed with other synth modules for a truly unique setup.   Complete Your Setup Whether you’re just getting into modular synths or looking to complete your collection, the MULTIMODE FILTER/RESONATOR MODULE 1047 from Behringer is a great tool to have when creating amazing music.

They were mainly all discrete transistor designs with some op-amps as at the time op-amps were high cost. The discrete circuitry gave the modules a very distinctive sound and were used by artists like The Who, Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Kraftwerk and so many more, giving us some of the greatest records and film soundtracks we’ve ever heard. Modular synths were a landmark development in electronic music and today, it’s about to get better. SAMPLE & HOLD/RANDOM VOLTAGE MODULE 1036 This is the Behringer 2500 series SAMPLE & HOLD/RANDOM VOLTAGE MODULE 1036. An authentic reproduction of the original “System 2500” circuitry from the 70’s that can fit in a standard Eurorack case. The best part? It’s at a very affordable price. Mix the SAMPLE & HOLD/RANDOM VOLTAGE MODULE 1036 in with your existing rig or start your modular synth journey from here. Either way you’re sure to have a lot of fun.
